Job Description
About the role:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
Install and upgrade electrical components, including lighting, GPS, communication, and entertainment systems.
Conduct electrical inspections and testing to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
Collaborate with the Service team to prioritise and complete electrical repairs within designated timeframes.
Keep accurate records of electrical work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Stay current with the latest advancements in automotive electrical systems and technologies.
Adhere to dealership policies and safety standards while ensuring high quality.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in the commercial truck industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accurate and thorough electrical inspections and repairs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
Valid heavy vehicle driver's license and clean driving record.
