Job Description

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead the workshop’s daily operations, driving team performance, productivity, and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate daily workshop operations and allocate repair orders
  • Maximise technician productivity, efficiency, and profitability
  • Ensure strong workflow control, on-time delivery, and quality standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop technicians and apprentices
  • Work closely with Service Advisors on job progress and customer updates
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and high-performing workshop

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Previous experience as a Truck Workshop Controller or Foreman (dealership preferred)
  • Qualified Heavy Vehicle or Automotive Technician
  • Roadworthy Certificate preferred but not essential
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and development
  • Highly organised with a focus on performance and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Current Australian truck driver’s licence
