Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead the workshop’s daily operations, driving team performance, productivity, and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate daily workshop operations and allocate repair orders
Maximise technician productivity, efficiency, and profitability
Ensure strong workflow control, on-time delivery, and quality standards
Lead, coach, and develop technicians and apprentices
Work closely with Service Advisors on job progress and customer updates
Maintain a safe, organised, and high-performing workshop
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Previous experience as a Truck Workshop Controller or Foreman (dealership preferred)
Qualified Heavy Vehicle or Automotive Technician
Roadworthy Certificate preferred but not essential
Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and development
Highly organised with a focus on performance and efficiency
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Current Australian truck driver’s licence
