Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns
Performing repairs to manufacturer standards and specifications
Completing complex diagnostic and technical repairs efficiently
Collaborating with Service Advisors and Parts teams to achieve outstanding customer outcomes
Supporting workshop productivity and technical excellence
Maintaining accurate repair documentation and diagnostic reports
Participating in manufacturer training and staying current with new vehicle technologies
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Automotive Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience working within a dealership environment
Toyota experience highly regarded but not essential
A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Current manual driver's licence
Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic
