Job Description
What You'll Learn
Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician
Engine, transmission and driveline repairs
Brake, suspension and steering systems
Advanced diagnostics and fault finding
Preventative maintenance and servicing
Heavy vehicle safety systems
Heavy Vehicle Auto Electrician
• Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Electronic control systems
• Truck electrical and wiring systems
• Telematics and connected vehicle technology
• Advanced driver assistance and safety systems
Desired Skills and Experience
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated individuals who are serious about building a long-term career in the heavy vehicle industry.
You will ideally have:
Completion of a Certificate II in Automotive or Heavy Vehicle Studies
Completed or currently completing Year 12, VCE, VCAL or a pre-apprenticeship program
A current driver's licence (preferred)
A genuine passion for trucks and the automotive industry
Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent reliability and attendance
Commitment to completing a four-year apprenticeship
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A focus on workplace safety and quality workmanship
Availability to commence in January 2027 is essential.
