Job Description
Mercedes-Benz Brighton is seeking a qualified automotive Panel Beater to join the team. You will work with a friendly, experienced, and supportive Autobody Manager, fostering a positive atmosphere and providing development opportunities for your success.
About the role:
Inspect vehicles for damage and determine repair needs.
Dismantle damaged vehicle parts and panels.
Perform repairs on dents, scratches, and structural damage.
Replace damaged panels and components as necessary.
Align and fit new parts to ensure proper installation.
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Address any imperfections before final delivery.
Work closely with other team members, including spray painters and mechanics.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Participate in training and development opportunities.
Assist with Spray painting duties when required, ensuring quality finishes.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Relevant certifications or qualifications in the automotive panel industry.
Proven experience, preferably working with luxury brands.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality finishes.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Honest and reliable
VIC driver's Licence
