Job Description
About the Role
As a Truck Parts Interpreter, you will provide exceptional customer service to our truck customers in person and by phone. Your responsibilities will include:
Serving retail and VIP trade customers
Managing sales and customer accounts
Ordering, invoicing, and processing payments for parts
Handling customer inquiries in person and over the phone
Checking in parts deliveries
Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
Assisting with parts stock takes
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
We welcome applications from professionals in both light and heavy vehicle parts. To excel in this role, you should possess:
Familiarity with parts cataloguing software (ERA experience is a plus, but not required)
A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
A professional work ethic
A technical understanding of truck mechanics for accurate parts identification
Good telephone etiquette and proficient PC skills
A valid Victorian driver’s license
On offer:
Competitive salary based on experience, plus overtime (occasional rostered half day Saturday)
A $5000 sign-on bonus is available. $2500 will be paid after 30 days and upon completion of the probation period.
