We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pre-Owned Vehicle (POV) Sales Manager. This is a great opportunity to lead our vibrant sales team in delivering top customer service and strong sales results.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate the used vehicle sales team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the sales process by assisting customers with inquiries, test drives, and vehicle presentations.
  • Maintain an organised and well-merchandised showroom and yard, ensuring vehicles are clean and presented to the highest standards.
  • Research competitors and industry trends to inform pricing strategies and product offerings.
  • Oversee inventory levels, manage vehicle orders, coordinate trade-ins, and ensure a diverse selection of used cars.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Analyse sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records related to sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory management.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry developments, and dealership promotions.
  • Manage the department's administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the General Sales Manager.
     

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive POV Sales Manager.
  • Experience in valuing and buying with a strong understanding of the market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in sales documentation and inventory management.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
